“My passion for the markets really started when I was only 12 years old. I wanted to learn as much as I could and wanted to start investing, so I did. I bought two stocks when I was 12 and four years later I had not lost (nor gained) any money, luckily. I knew something had to change so I started to research the strategies and stumbled upon technical analysis. I fell in love with it immediately, I knew that’s what I wanted my strategy to revolve around. So from that point on, I have developed a comprehensive trading plan and found my niche with the ‘big’ realm of capital markets.”

“I’m a senior in college studying finance and economics. I’ve been trading for about 4 years now. My focus is swing trading and occasionally shorter-term intraday trading. This blog will be a way for me to share trading ideas, setups, concepts, and other market-related commentary. “

“Financial markets play a vital role in everyone’s lives whether we are aware of it or not. From mortgage rates to 401k savings plans to food prices at the grocery store, financial market transactions are involved in our everyday activities. This is why I believe it is of the utmost importance to be financially literate. I’ve been studying financial markets for roughly two years, and though I’ve barely scratched the surface of information out there, I’ve learned first-hand how important it is to be aware of the core principles that make up the world of finance. It is my hope that by sharing my commentary on and experiences with markets that I can help encourage you to explore the world of finance for yourself.”

“I am a sophomore finance student at Quinnipiac University. I have been into trading for over a year now. I am just coming out of the stage of my trading journey where I came to the realization that I need to create a systematic approach to my trading strategy. I have done research into trading systems and I have found one that I truly believe in, trend following. That really is where I am today, I am in the process of forming my trading system through back testing. This will probably be the longest part of my journey because I want to construct a system that has a true edge and one that I truly believe in.”

“I first became interested in trading in 2007 when I bought AAPL when it was still $16 a share. Watching the stock surge made me realize the potential that lies in the financial markets so I set out to learn as much as I could about investing and trading. In the years following I had some good trades and some bad ones as well but i’m constantly learning from my mistakes. I quickly learned the importance of adhering to a trading strategy. Now I’m mostly a swing trader using technical analysis to find trends and potential setups. On longer term trades I try and identify growth stocks that have the potential to double or triple in value. By sharing my ideas and trades here I hope to help others become successful traders.”
